The Voice of the Community Became Youth Proposals

The first volunteering activity under the project “Young People for Strong Communities: Participation, Solidarity and Democratic Engagement”, No. 2025-1-BG01-ESC51-VTJ-000346452, has been successfully completed.

Partner: Asociatia “ACT Integration”.

 

The volunteers carried out information and field activities, spoke with residents, and gathered views on local needs. The main themes were civic engagement, the public and environmental setting, culture, and opportunities for youth participation.

The collected information was summarised and analysed, and the participants developed youth proposals for the development of the local community. During the art workshop, the volunteers created artistic materials, some of which were used in the visual materials on the three main themes: civic engagement, the environment, and culture. The activity demonstrated that volunteering can be a practical tool for dialogue, participation, and joint problem-solving by young people and the local community.
